Attended the XVI International AIDS Conference 2006 on full scholarship:
- Spoke at a leadership session titled "Learning from the Leadership of Young People and Positive Youth in the Global Response to HIV/AIDS" about connecting youth globally and provided recommendations to youth, civil society and the government
- Co-facilitated a session at the youth pre-conference titled "Intricacies of the Virus"
- Attended 3-day Youth Pre-conference
- Participated in the MTV 48fest and was part of the team that produced a three minute movie named "The Last Time" about women in developing countries and how poverty render them vulnerable. Later on, this movie was awarded the "Finalist Award in New York International Film and Video Festivals" under the category "International Affairs"
Participated in UNGASS +5 Review meetings and Youth Summit 2006:
- Participated in "Media and Marketing" and "Lobbying UN missions" trainings
- Spoke at a church event at the UN Church center
- Represented the civil society at UNGASS meetings and meetings with Egyptian Delegations
- Shared in developing an Advocacy message for the Youth Declaration
- Had an interview broadcasted online on the UN Radio website
International Advanced Trainer of Trainers on peer education methodologies and active member of the National core team of Youth Peer network (Y-PEER) in Egypt:
- Shared in the design of an Arabic manual for peer educators that is currently being revised.
- Shared in preparation of the action plan of Y-PEER Egypt.
- Currently preparing for the peer education program in the Coptic Church along with the team.
- Preparation of the University Campaign.
- Focal group discussion about the Transit Toolkit.
Member of the OXFAM International Youth Partnership and Action Partner for 2007-2010
- Attended the first Kaleidoscope in Australia, October 2007 where we had a series of workshops on different topics including; Gender Equality, LGBT Rights, Using creative art and photography in development, Advocacy and Youth empowerment.
- Met with other Action Partners from the region and those Action partners from 2004 – 2007 and worked collectively on a regional response for Middle East and North Africa.
Attended the International Federation for Medical Students’ Association PreGA workshops in August 2007 as a trainer of trainers in the International Peer Education Training (IPET), where the following methodologies and issues have been tackled:
